August Bike Ride #2

Today's bike ride was an easy stroll through the neighborhood to Twin Lakes Park. It was oddly cool today - at 5:00pm (usually the hottest part of the day in August), it was only 72 degrees! Brrr...that's cool enough for Eliza to need to wear a sweatshirt on the bike ride!

Here we are at the Twin Lakes Park playground. As you can see from this picture, this is an amazingly fun playground structure.

We did Eliza's favorite things (baby swings and small blue slide) and then I did my favorite thing - chatted with another Mom I met at the park! She unfortunately lived in South Durham and therefore I didn't exchange phone numbers with her. That's okay though, I've got 2 new friends who live in Old East Durham and we've been hanging out together somewhat routinely. Here's the last 2 pictures of our park visit:
